WatchKit & TimeTag for the Apple Watch

Apple dropped WatchKit yesterday and I couldn't be more excited. I think the opportunity for TimeTag on the watch is really cool, and one that I will begin working on immediately.

I will write in more detail as I flesh out the mini-app, but the goals I want to achieve are:

  • Make it easy to start & stop a timer from your watch
  • Make it easy to set a tag/activity from your watch
  • See running timers at a glance

That's a pretty good starting point, and I think one I'll end up sticking to. I don't believe Watch apps should be heavy (neither does Apple) so I'm not going to inundate it with screens.
